Southern - Eurostar from Ashford

Bit taken aback arriving at Ashford International this afternoon from Rye to hear an announcement on the train about changing here for the Eurostar to Lille and Paris

Very outdated

I do that journey occasionally and don't recall that before but maybe I haven't been listening properly

Is there something I don't know?

Trains often announce connections that are no longer possible late at night, so maybe this is like that. You can change there, just not right away.

Maybe in the morning or maybe in six months or a year....

It's been on the turbostars auto announcer since Eurostar pulled out of Ashford.
