Hello.
I recently had an interview with southeastern at Tonbridge. I received and email a couple of days later stating that I had passed the interview..good news.. does anyone know how long it might be before I have my medical? And then start training?? It had been 5 weeks since my interview.

Thanks for any advise.

Sorry I should mention that it was for a customer service role.

If you've been successful at interview and have also been successful at your assessments then you will be in a successful candidates pool for up to 12 months. When a role comes up they will contact you and arrange a medical and if that is all OK a start date for your corporate induction and then your passenger services (station staff) and assisting disabled passengers/customer care course.

I was in the pool for 3 months myself before being offered a role but talking to others this was relatively lucky. I was sent for a medical 3 weeks later and then a second medical a couple of weeks afterwards (as they had to write to my GP about a tablet I was on). I passed the second medical and had a start date a month later.

Hope this helps. If you want to know anything further about SET then let me know.

Thanks for your reply.
I have passed the assessment stages and interview. I was told at the interview I shouldn't be waiting for more than a couple of months. (Had London bridge as my preferred Station.). Good to know the next steps. Just eager to start. Thanks again.

Hi there

Im actually in the same position. Interview was 2 weeks ago and been told I passed this stage of the process. This is for the passenger host role at St Pancras so I'm waiting for vacancies here to open up. Just hoping it isn't too long! First job after Uni and I'm eager to get going

Hey maverick55.
Judging by what the previous poster said . It will be a minimum of 5 months if we are lucky. Don't think my misses will stand for me being off work for that long. Haha. Good luck. Fingers crossed it won't be that long.

Sorry for the delayed reply mate I haven't been on here for a while. They called me asking if I was free for a medical which was last Thursday. They then sent me a letter in the post confirming I'd passed this week and set for a start date on the 10th of October for training.

Have you heard anything back yet?
