All that was true until the January timetable change. There are no longer anywhere near the number of attaching and detaching trains at Faversham or Ashford and the 465/9s now regularly visit Dover via Faversham and they also get a once daily trip to Folkestone Central on the 16:57 from Charing Cross via Tonbridge! Some of the newly extended Maidstone East line services to Canterbury West are also 465/9s (although I have already seen a BREL/ABB unit substituting). I believe they can't go to Dover via Folkestone however due to restrictions in place regarding Shakespeare Tunnel.I believe it's virtually completely 375. Someone who knows SE routes better could say for sure, but most Dover trains from
Victoria via Faversham split with a Ramsgate portion en route. Afaik, the only networker diagrams that reach close to Dover in regular service are the 465/9's which turn up on a few Ashford via Maidstone East turns. I believe this is due to the 465's being suited for metro turns (3+2 seating etc), the long distance networkers they had were the 365's which have all gone. Happy to be corrected
