Receieved a message this morning that I was unsuccessful with my DMI, with a 12 month wait to reapply. I've asked for feedback.
Very suprised to say the least.

Sorry to hear that mate, how did you find the interview? Was it relaxed or quite formal?Receieved a message this morning that I was unsuccessful with my DMI, with a 12 month wait to reapply. I've asked for feedback.

CongratulationsDMI passed! I start my apprenticeship in June (pending medical of course)! I AM THE HAPPIEST PERSON ON THE PLANET!Thanks to everyone on this thread for the hints and tips. Huge career change and I cannot WAIT to get started!
Thanks for the advice, I’m bricking it and haven’t even got a date yet!!!Very formal asked me about the TPWS sheet given, other random questions from the list that they gave me in the post.
Wasn't the perfect interview, and they did have 10 more people to see. If given the opportunity again will have to make sure theres no room for declining. Memorising the TPWS sheet word for word would be a great start lol
Good morning and the very best of luck for your assessment day.I have my assessment day on Wednesday
I'm in two minds if I have prepared well or not. I'm very self-critical and have been running myself down over my performance in some of the practice material. Some of it I've found almost too easy which sets me on edge! I'm going to do some more practicing over the weekend and Monday. One thing, I thought where I work now is full of acronyms. This forum has proven there is clearly not enough acronyms in the world
In a way it doesn't feel real that an assessment date is finally here as I had almost given up hope and parked any ambitions of becoming a driver.
Congratulations to all who have gone through this process and have started or have start dates, I'd love to hear more about the training and the journey of that.
Thanks! Feel rotten for the folks who didn't pass though.Congratulations

If it helps, the team at Ashford are very friendly and really put you at ease. They talk you through the tasks very clearly and ask if you have any questions before you start. Just think, you wouldn't be going if you'd not shown promise in the online tests. Good luck!I have my assessment day on Wednesday

Remember that the paperwork your sent doesn’t truly represent the actual tests you’ll sit on the day.
They are designed to hone your skills with similar tasks.
I had difficulties with a couple of the practice material sent and certainly beat myself up over it while revising.
Have a read over the thread again and myself and others have wrote about our experiences on the day.

Yes mate im in the exact same boat and also Dartford.Anyone on here passed the assessments but still waiting on mmi/dmi etc for Dartford?
Congratulations for todayAttended today, passed, enhanced
Very happy and very thankful for the advice and pearls of wisdom on here.
No two ways about it, the tests will test you and I thoroughly recommend using the practice material you get sent. I borrowed some old school CD-Roms which didn't hurt either. The assessors are very professional and as someone who does a similar job to them whenever my current employers are recruiting I am in awe of them, really good set up. Managed expectation, explained everything excellently and are a credit to themselves
Finishing line in sight but still the DMI, MMI, medical and drugs test to navigate
Congratulations! Definitely a relief passing those assessments isn't it?!Attended today, passed, enhanced

When I did my MMI on 10th Feb there was a guy doing his and he applied for Slade green?Has anyone heard back who applied for the Slade green depot
What depot?Passed the assessment centre on 04/03, Very pleased with myself. I emailed out of curiosity on how long the process could be regarding the MMI/Driver manager interview and I was told it will likely be next year!
I understand that the recruitment process is slow, however I was thinking it seemed odd to do the assessment centre so far from the other parts of the recruitment process.
Could this change with possible drop outs/people no longer wanting the job etc?
Ashford, they explained how there is over 50 candidates which makes sense. It just seemed so close but now possibly far! What depot
Have you had your interviews yet/had any updates?Back in November when I sat my assessments, I was told around a year for my chosen depot. I suspect some of it is to manage expectations.
No interviews as of yet and no updates.Have you had your interviews yet/had any updates?
It seems the theme with southeastern is MMI booked for a later date, the day is pretty full on with morning and afternoon assessments. Finally have an assessment date booked in for next month, just starting to read through the practice material.
For those that have been recently, if you get through the test stages are you called back to attend an MMI at a later date or can it happen the same day?
