I want to ask one thing that in the attention test do we need to do full page within one minute or it’s not necessary that how much did we do in one minute?? Because it’s very short time to find the word from whole page in one minute during practice I’m able to do only 11 lines in one minute doesn’t matter how many times I do it’s still 11 lines…

Nobody knows exactly what the pass or fail mark is, you just have to do your best, but accuracy seems to be top priority.
Most of the practice test material doesn’t actually represent the tests on the day, they are designed to help you practice similar scenarios.
The whole assesment day is designed to put you under a little pressure to see how you respond, out of 35 odd people on my day, only 7/8 actually passed everything.

I did speak to a friend of mine who was invited to do Arctic Shores after applying (I believe this stage is usually prior to the in person assessments). He was unsuccessful and was told so straight away.

I’m going Ashford on 10th for my MMI, I’ll ask the recruitment team about Arctic shore and update everyone.

I think to echo what Mickey has said. It's an intentionally intense process and you do also need an element of luck. But fundamentally it's down to the individual to achieve the required standard on each assessment, if you need everything explicitly explained in order to pass them, then you'd probably end up struggling with the training when the time comes. The driving role is the most sought after role in the company and naturally the entry requirements are tough as a result.

They can be done at any point really and they are more to see how you react to things and what type of person who are etc.

I have my test centre for southern at the end of feb and although the practice material they send you is good the ATAVT perception test is hard to practice, I spent the whole of today creating a programme for myself to practice on and its pretty good so I decided to sell it so other can use it too, it pretty cheap compared to all the others on the market have a look and let me know what you think I will attach the link .https://willisjames.gumroad.com/l/zdbdy

Another thing I did was read the Southeastern railway plan and mentioned specific sections on infrastructure and fleet upgrades.
It’ll show that you’ve looked deeper into the company rather than the about us page and reel off all the same stuff as everybody else

After over 2 years of waiting I got the email I had been waiting on. Assessment centre booked for the 25th Feb.

I have had a stack of group Bourdon DVDs sat for ages on the side not wanting to hex myself by doing them without a date or confirmation for the Assessment day. I have killed the printer getting all the practice material reeled off and following a pretty brutal course this week for my current job I will really hit the preparation hard for the next fortnight

I'm apprehensive, excited and really curious as to what the day will hold.

Good luck to anyone who has got this far.

Yeah, I was told by interviewer that she was happy with my answers and that a colleague had to double check

I received my email within the hour to confirm passing

Wasn’t me doing the MMI mate. I’m up next week for stage 2 and if all goes well will do the MMI after
