Southeastern Train Movement Apprentice

Hi All,

Hope all is well I applied for the Train Movement Apprentice role for Southeastern was successful for the SJT then got an email to do an online assessment which was completely different to other TOC’s around the first week of April but I haven’t heard anything back from them. Did anyone else complete the assessment or got an interview???

I know this is a long time since you applied. I was just wondering how you got on as I've recently applied for the same role and have just completed the online assessment.

My application for the TMA job passed the initial screening in July '24, heard nothing until April of this year.

Invited to Ashford for the Paper/Computer tests and passed in May.

Waiting for a MMI sometime 'over the Summer' and if successful, relying on whenever there is a position/role/training available at the nearest Depot.

Oh you just completed the online test now? and I completed mine in April 2025 but still haven’t heard nothing at all. I heard that for some depots they were a lot of people that passed more than they expected so applications are on hold but don’t know how true this is…. But at least southeastern can do is update their applicants if they passed the test or not.

Congratulations and If you mind me asking did you do the southeastern online test first before you went to the test centre and what is it like on the paper and computer test do you do everything in one day?

The current job listing thats showing is for a ground shunter so I believe will be different to the job from this original thread.
