Southeastern to Jubilee line

Is it easier to transfer between Southeastern services and the Jubilee line (to/from Baker Street) at London Bridge or Waterloo East/Southwark?

I would personally always transfer at Waterloo East/Southwark - I find it a much less stressful connection

I second Waterloo East/Southwark; make sure you're in the last carriage and you can just hop off and head down the stairs at the end of the platforms. Much better than walking through to Waterloo proper. The advantage over using London Bridge is that you're already on a train that goes further(*); in this case there's no benefit to changing at an earlier station along the same route.

(*) Assuming you're not on a Cannon Street service!

I might use this option when the Charing Cross platform at London Bridge is closed in 2015, losing the connection between Southern and Southeastern services, which means I can use the ELL and Jubilee.

The Jubilee line was voted best to use by passengers.

During the peaks yes, but is otherwise fine.

I'll go with Southwark/Waterloo East in that case.

The interchange at London Bridge from the SE platforms to the tube seems to take longer than at other stations, as you seem to almost exit the station then go back in again.

When travelling from Ashford l've tended to go to Waterloo as l find the trains are much quieter at the London end of the train and it seems silly to walk all the way back to Southwark when travelling Westbound. However l'd agree that if on a quiet train, or one where the whole train is busy, then it's best to interchange to Southwark.

If you walk along the footbridge mid-way down the SE platforms to platform 8 and exit using the Southern gates, the escalator down to the underground is straight across the gateline and roomier than using the SE exit which is crammed at the best of times.

I agree that WAE for Southwark is better (probably biased by my normal train not stopping at LBG); coach 9/10 on longer trains.

If you're going to Baker Street why not just stay on to Charing Cross and then use the Bakerloo?

The walk from NR to Bakerloo at Charing Cross in quite a bit longer than Waterloo East to Southwark and also the train from WAE to CHX can take a little while particularly at peak times if waiting for a platform.
