Southeastern overtime pay

I'm just posting to find out how overtime pay works for Southeastern, or any other TOC for that matter. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks

It will depend on role.

For drivers IIRC 4 years ago it was £45 book on fee, then flat rate with minimum 5 hour turn lengths (so pretty derisory compared to other TOCs). It might have changed since.

Rest Day Working is time & 1/8th for GA (Anglia Railways) drivers. Minimum turn payment is 8 hours plus a £57 booking on/availability bonus.

The £45 is the RDW enhancement, basically. No enhancement for rostered OT, and Sundays are fully inside the working week.

100% accurate I can assure you.

It was worse when there were committed hours as well.

Committed hours were the worst. Funny when I left SE the union guy seemed to think I'd be worse off going to a firm that had sundays outside and paid you for them on top even though the basic without them was nearly 10k more lol.
That said it all for me.

Yes that’s doing the rounds… Cricklewood depot may be short of tin openers, but it clearly doesn’t lack the odd spanner!

Definitely a weak union who (rumour had it) favoured coastal depots, hence the relatively poor Ts and Cs on the metro side.

There did seem to be a bit of divide between coastal and metro, was some interesting encounters at Ashford I remember especially if you were a bit slower doing an attachment lol.
