Southeastern OBM Application

My boyfriend recently applied for a job as OBM at Southeastern and took the verbal reasoning tests. Unfortunately, he did not pass. However, he currently has a pass in Railway standards RAAT which he obtained from LNER. Does anyone know if Southeastern would accept this in place of their own tests?

This is my first time posting in this category of the forum and I don't know much about how the recruitment process works or what to expect.

Does anyone know if there is a contact number for someone in HR at Southeastern for him to speak to? Emailing back the person from the careers team lead to a reply that stated they don't accept external emails to internal addresses.

It might be worth calling them and asking to speak to HR to clarify the position. Was no contact number given in the invite to the tests? If not you could just go via the switchboard.

If they resist putting you through you can point out that the call is in relation to an existing application (and give his name), rather than anything speculative.

To be honest I doubt it. They will want all applicants to meet their own standards.

Unfortunately, unlike driver tests, other results hold no authority with any other company.
