Hi

Just wondered if anyone can shed some light on how a 4.5 day a week roster pattern works. Also heard a rumour that southeastern was going to a 4 day a week ?

It'll be an average, either over the roster period or a year.

As Flash has stated, it is an average over a period of time, some weeks you will do 5 days others will be 4 (or even 3) but it will average out to 4.5 days a week average.

You will be paid for 4.5 days a week(actually the hourly equivalent) regardless of how many hours you are actually at work that week.
