Quite a rare chance to see some southeastern 375s work Hastings to Tonbridge via Lewes, Haywards Heath, etc.

Guessing so, shouldn't think many drivers have much route knowledge of Lewes Haywards heath area so must be urgent

Would assume southern drivers will take it as far as Redhill

Are 377s much different from 375s? Can only assume that the DOO camera equipment would be the only difference of the top of my head. SE driver could be conducted over the route by Southern driver manager I guess. Regularly see 375s on the Tonbridge line via Redhill & some SE drivers drive the Southern services on that line.

I guess the last time a 375 was down that way was when Southern hired in some SE units to work a London service many years back! Or indeed when the 377/3s where 375s before being converted.

This video shows a 12/375 running ECS from Hastings to Lovers Walk in 2009. It was filmed passing through Polegate.

They passed me at Gatwick Airport, my guess would be a southeastern driver being conducted by a southern (Eastbourne) driver to Redhill.

I think they also sent a few that way last time the Hastings line was closed due to a landslip (Winter 13/14 I think?)
