I would like to buy a one week season ticket running from Tuesday to Monday. Is that possible or is it only from Monday to Sunday? I will be travelling on southeastern trains. Thanks

You can buy season tickets starting any day- and one week ones can, I'm pretty sure, be bought to start the following day after 5pm?

You can definitely buy one to start on the Tuesday. The National Rail site (http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/times_fares/season_tickets/) says that you can only buy it on the Tuesday morning though. I don't know why this has changed - in September I checked and it was possible to buy it from 1200 the previous day (or the Friday before a Monday/Tuesday with a bank holiday), just like it is for a monthly one now according to the National Rail site, even though I was buying a 7 day ticket.

There are differences depending on whether it's a renewal or a first purchase. If it's a new purchase, does the OP have a Season Ticket photocard already?

Thanks for the replies. I managed to pick up the ticket tonight at London Bridge starting tomorrow no problem. Had a problem coming home though - used an oyster for a single journey and my 16-25 discount did not come off despite me adding it onto the oyster at a tube station a couple of weeks ago, and the national rail website saying it would work out of peak times. This was the first time I'd tried it so will have to find out what happened.

Assuming it was a Tube or bus journey, the YP discount will only come off the total daily cap, not each individual journey. If it was a NR journey, I believe you're now correct in saying it should come off each journey :)
