I have finally joined after much persuasion from my friend!

On Friday I am travelling from Southbourne (SOB) to Wakefield Westgate (WKF)

I have a East Coast Advance, marked as East Coast and connections and for the first leg of my journey I am reserved on the 16.59 from Southbourne to Three Bridges. At Three bridges the journey planner recommends I change onto a FCC Thameslink train, get off at London Bridge and get the tube to Kings Cross.

However my question is, Can I stay on the Thameslink train and continue from London Bridge to St Pancras on it, and then walking from St Pancras Rail to Kings Cross?

There is no reason why not, due at St Pancras 1905.

That's what I thought, I guess it would also be fine when I'm travelling through Euston to Manchester?

Yes, and if you specify via Blackfriars or something when you book it should suggest that.
