Southampton Flooding

Southampton Central is closed today due to flooding. No trains are getting past Eastleigh.

Causing more problems as West of England sevcies are meant to be going through Central today. I think the Chandelers Ford line is going to busy!!!

The wind seems to have reached the North. A crane in a building site on Mosley Street is reportedly swaying violently in the wind, resulting the closure of the road and therefore the inevitable suspension of Metrolink tram services between Picc Gardens and G-Mex. Reported by Metrolink control at 18:35 and still ongoing.

I think the 3rd rail is irrelevant at Southampton, looking at the height of the flood water. Probably came out of the tunnel
