Hello all,

I'm completely out of touch with the South Eastern stuff, but I'm using ABrail EMU stock for the liveries, as I've not kept up with what livery is on what.

Anyway I am writing up a Rush Hour pack for the Chatham Main Line Railworks route, and I've got the 2016 Carriage Working Notice (courtesy of UKModernEMU group) but I'm not sure what sub stock is used on what, or does that not usually make any difference?

I don't know if the 375 diagram numbers are linked to anything, but just wondering if 375/6's, /7's, /8's or /9's do just about anything, and are they usually paired different (375714 and 375909 for example). One of the sub-classes still has a pantograph fitted does it not?

Also do the 465/0's and 465/1's work anything or I suspect they just end up on anything booked for a 465.

If I recall rightly, in the CWN '465W' is a Class 465/9 (Only 465 with First Class?)

Any help is appreciated :)

James.

375/9 and 375/3 in the CWN is more or less correct, the rest could produce any one of the class. They do appear to have been some changes recently linked to the new August timetable...

For example, 2R60 1803 Charing X - Folkestone C is down as 375+375+375/3 but on Friday it was 375/6+375/9+375/9 - same goes for 1657 Charing X - Folkestone C, now 465/9+465/9 instead of the 465/9+466 it used to be.

375/6 was the dual voltage version but can't recall if the pantograph is still fitted.

465/0/1/2 are in a common pool and your right about the 465W, those are 465/9 workings with First Class. It's not unusual though to have a 465/0/1/2 end up working a 465/9 diagram, the 1657 has produced a /1 a couple of times recently.

Back in Connex days, I remember one Saturday evening waiting for the train to Elmers End at London Bridge and a 365 turned up, nice surprise that was!

The recent changes generally appear to be focused on maximising lengths of Charing Cross services because they now call at London Bridge (again).

Ah yes, of course! Makes sense, especially as the 1657 was standing room only from Waterloo East according to the Southeastern website.

They're still fitted. As to whether they work or if they're in any fit state, that's another story. All the other sub-classes do have the recess and could be retro-fitted if necessary.

As for other trivia, the 375/3s are mostly used to run the Medway Valley services, but you will see one being used as part of the 1P10 0632 RAM-VIC every morning to make it an 11-coach.

There also used to be one train in the morning from Dartford formed of 2 x 376 that would park in the Victoria Eastern sidings all day, and then come back out and run back to DFD in the afternoon.

Don't 375/8s have specific workings since they were fitted with deicing equipment?
