South Eastern Advance Tickets

I like to book trips away on weekends and frequently use Southern Daysave (bargain!) and SWT advance tickets to get good prices to travel to Poole & Weymouth (to connect with my ferry home).

However when I search on National Rail and on the SouthEastern website I can never ever locate advance tickets for SouthEastern services. I need to travel to Sandwich in September and was hoping for a reasonably priced ticket!

Can the 'Experts' on this forum please share with me the situation here? Does advance tickets exist on SET? If not, why not?

Thanks

Alex

SE don't do Advance tickets for their own routes. You can buy Advance tickets for longer through journeys to/from Kent, eg Birmingham - Sandwich - this would be a "Virgin Trains & Connections" ticket, where the "Connections" would be a SE service.

What are your requirements for your trip to Sandwich - can you give dates and stations?

I couldn't find any cheap tickets within the former NSE area, yet I've found a £12 advance single on September 2nd from Coventry to Sandwich.
