Hi all, new here so if this has been covered in the past my apologies.

It's regarding the London to Brighton pack. First issue is with the horn on the 377, basically it doesn't work. The depot whistle works fine and the horn on the class 37 is fine too. Do I need to reinstall the game or does everyone have this issue.

Secondly, the rack noise doesn't really seem to be very realistic. It seems to repeat the same sound every few seconds, stops, then again.... I've got the Portsmouth add-on and this seems much better. Again, is this normal or have I got a bug in there somewhere? Thanks.

This is a well documented issue. Until now, nobody has found a way of fixing it, even the good old 'clear cache' or 'verify integrity of game cache' have had no success. The horn does work - go outside the cab and you'll hear it loud and clear, but inside, nothing.

Sorry to not have any way of fixing it, but at least you know it's not just you!

They've mucked up the cab occlusion setup by the looks of things.

Only thing I can suggest is getting the Armstrong Powerhouse pack for it, fixes the issue and makes the unit way more enjoyable to use. I know its payware so its not ideal but until RSC book their ideas up I can't honestly see it getting fixed.

Ahhh so it does. I never go outside the train, quite a good sounding horn, shame I cant her it inside.

So, happy and disappointed at the same time here. Happy I'm not being dumb but disappointed that it doesn't look like getting fixed. You pay good money for these things and you'd expect developers to get a grip on these things. Ahh well.

Don't think I'll be paying for the payware. I enjoy the gameplay but I can't justify paying extra for something that shouldn't exist in the first place.

Now all I need to do is learn how to create my own scenarios and I'll be as happy as a pig in the proverbial. thanks guys.

When London to Brighton first came out, the horn issue didn't exist and worked fine - inside and out. However, yonks ago an update got done that messed it up, and well, despite further updates on other bits of the add-on, it hasn't been fixed yet... or ever will be by the looks of it!
