Sotheastern Key not showing ticket

On Monday I purchased an advance ticket online through Southeastern s Web site. I paid using debit card and got a booking reference.

Today I went to the ticket office and the lady couldn't find a ticket. Nor could the TVM. She told me to travel and just show any RPI or authorised person my email

Of course the email isn't a physical ticket and I don't want to be done for a bylaw offence of travelling without a ticket

Any advice? First time using the Key

If you have permission to board without a ticket, you are not committing an offence. Though it would be wise to have some form of independent evidence of this, e.g. a written note or endorsement.

Did you select delivery onto The Key?
Does the confirmation email specify delivery method?

I didn't intentionally select delivery onto the Key but the confirmation email specified it was loaded onto the Key. Odd that the lady in the ticket office couldn't find it
