At the end of the day, its not unreasonable to ask for the detail given the amount being discussed, and because they've calculated what they believe has been avoided bottom up on a journey by journey basis, the additional work to share that with you is negligible.

Its also something we've seen in plenty of previous cases here, where spreadsheets have been sent with all the detail.

New update - and thanks for your suggestions - he sent a letter asking for a breakdown for him to check against his personal records as suggested and we'll wait to see what comes back. I'll let you know what happens.
