No, its a dump.
:o How dare you!

I don't take photos any more but the footbridge at Filton seems quite popular as you can get a picture from high up without any platform in the way. I understand it's less good now they've put HST stopping signs up.

Speed limit through Stapleton Road is something like 75mph, Filton trains will be going slower as more stop and will be slowing/speeding up for the junction.

You could try Yatton - FGW HSTs, XC Voyagers and HSTs go through pretty fast and you'll also get stopping FGW 143/150/153s. I think you might even get the 67s+Mk2s stopping as well.

Bear in mind that Yatton hasn't got that good frequency of trains. Only HSTs are the few that continue through Bristol to Weston/Paignton which aren't that common. XC services are only hourly with a few exceptions, plus 2 local trains per hour.

Filton is your best bet of not getting mugged.

I wonder if they've replaced the glass in the shelter there that was removed when I stopped using it on a daily basis - Sept last year.

Yep you've got 4/5 tph from Temple Meads to Filton so it's easy to get to.

What time you gonna be there, I'm going to Bristol tomorrow for a few days! I should be there around 4.15pm.
