Excuse my ignorance, but what is veg ?
I always understood it was information that peope never referred to as they weren't interested in it!

What station is that with 90044 ?

'veg' is a term use to describe people that hang around various places, mainly station ends of lineside and could be mistaken for Vegetation ;)

Looks like the term has two or localised meanings
It ended up in a discussion recently and two people commented that they don't do coaches as they are not into coach veg, and that's the usual use I've heard, along with Pendo Veg, and so on
My usual reply to that is I don't do steam veg !

usual places infested with it include Doncaster, Derby, Clapham Junction, Chesterfield and Tamworth High Level
'vegetable patch' refers to a group of veg

Really means those who spend hours in the same spot but currently seems to be the 'fashionable' word for clowns/neds/treats/messes etc.

Nice phots btw, bit of a makeshift rake of stock on the cromptons! 90044 looks like Woodgrange Park to me.

Thanks for the comments, indeed both of yesterday's tours seemed to have a rather mixmatch of stock! And indeed, the photo of 90044 was taken at Woodgrange Park on Friday. :)
