Noticed some unusual things with NXEC HST sets today, so who knows what's been going on! Firstly, the 1530 London King's Cross-Edinburgh ran with an ex-MML powercar at the north end (presume this is now with Cross Country) - any ideas why?

Secondly, the 1555 Newcastle-King's Cross consisted of a rather misformed set, which was a refurbished NXEC liveried set sandwiched by 1 unrefurbished first and 1 unrefurbished TSO, GNER liveried powercars, and coach C was missing altogether! Looked a bit of a mess really (not to mention especially busy with 1 coach missing!).
