Hi all. Recently, after my uncle was staying with me, he's got me into a lot more landscape photography and have been taking quite a few pics over the past week. This thread will get an update each time I add some new photos.

Lovely shots, I must get a proper camera one day.

I LOVE the Motorway shot in the dark.

I was tempted to try a shot like that accross the M6 while walking back to my uncles house from Water Orton, but I got a lift.

Great shot though.

Can I ask what camera you use?

I use a Fujifilm Finepix S5700. Soon upgrading to a S9600

I set it to S. Put the exposure upto 4" then lowered the ISO to 64. Lower ISOs capture slower than higher ISOs. So, for a good shot at twilight (Dusk), set the ISO low.

100/200 works on my Camera.

Use 'P' Does all of the shutter and timings for you and you set the ISO

As I'm pretty serious about being a professional photographer, me mum said that I can have a new camera

It's a good shot but you might get better results by putting the camera into A mode (or whatever aperture priority is) and set that to f8 or something for a decent depth of field and letting the camera work out the shutter speed.

I'd also be worth using manual mode and messing on with the settings yourself and seeing how the affect the result.

Ok Craig. I'll try that another day. I might go out on tuesday night and get shot again from a motorway bridge, but this time the road will be soaking wet and would make it better
