I note that, Wrexham/Salop is shut floods at Gobowen,Wrexham/Bidston also shut floods at Buckley & Chester/Crewe again shut probable flood around Beeston Castle area.

There was here too, high winds and lotsa, lotsa rain, I had to cycle to work in it (or try to). Clear blue sky now, wind is still gusting quite severely.

Yep, loads if rain here too. On top of all that melting snow = lots of water! Flooding also causing disruption at Yeovil and Blythe Bridge.

Wouldn't surprise me, the Exe was in full flow earlier and iphone weather says rain everyday all week! Fields towards Tiverton also looking pretty saturated yesterday, slightly surprised there were no TSRs.

To be honest flooding is something we have far less to legitimatley complain about than snow. Snow stops trains because the choice has been made (rightly or wrongly, probably rightly) not to equip our trains sufficiently to deal with cold weather. Whereas flooding is flooding - short of a train that turns into a boat there isn't much anyone can do. It only becomes the rail industries 'fault' if one particular area consistently floods without anything being done.
