Is there a website/facebook group etc that has the diagrams for SNCF class 26000s or a real time trains type site for SNCF?

Many Thanks.

Yes, the diagrams are posted on ERG (European Rail Gen) on groups.io - I would also recommend the SNCF connect app, as that will show you correct train formations with or without a loco.

I don’t know how well that information would work. I bought a reserved first class ticket this morning 16/7/24 for a train from Paris to Le Havre. The train was delayed 15 minutes and substituted older equipment with fewer cars. Passengers were told to sit wherever they wanted. Many were standing. Since this was supposed to be a day trip I got off and went back to the hotel.

Obviously information cannot be garunteed. You seem to be suggesting that because you were subject to a set swap that that is normality.

I never said this was a normal occurrence. I’ve traveled on many trains in France over the years(mostly tgv) and this was the first this happened.
