Smartcard /Southern App ticket types.

Hi all,

Just downloaded the updated Southern app.

Trying to buy tickets and load them onto my smartcard but it doesn't allow this. It only allows season tickets. Not single or return tickets.

Are there certain ticket types that can be purchased online / via app and then loaded onto smartcard via app?

It is would be handy to buy everything through the app and then go straight through barriers.

Southern/GTR are particularly poor in not allowing day tickets to be loaded to smartcards via NFC.

They do offer a pay as you go feature on their smartcard (called KeyGo) which covers the majority of their routes but NOT stations managed by others TOCs.

You can add this feature to your card by registering at the app/website with a payment card.
Railcards can be added to the card.
