I posess an EMT era smartcard on which I purchase weekly season tickets between Leicester and Loughborough, which works just fine for me at both EMR gatelines, and increasingly the TMs and RPOs have been able to check it on their smartphones.
My overall commute, however, includes lengthy walks at both ends of the journey, and I'm considering the possibility of using the bus this winter at one or both ends. The EMR website suggests that seasonal Plusbus tickets can only be offered at ticket offices, which strongly implies that they will be paper based. Does anyone know what the process is like to get these, and how much it would cost?
