ZSSK have posted today about an upgrade to their internal sleeper services. The pictures imply they will be using the ex-CML/NJ double-deck stock which have been in SK for several years.

The text also refers to a rejig of the supplements. No prizes for guessing which way that will send prices.

So if you want a cheap night in a vintage DDR vehicle, don't leave it too long :)

Sorry to hear it, but no surprise.

I have had a fair few overinghts Bratislava-Kosice or v.v. at €8 a pop (three berth, but midweek not unusual to have a compartment to yourself).

My best ever was a 2 berth Wagon-Lit to myself between Lisboa and Porto in the mid 1970s - a treat for about £2!
