Hi,
My next multimedia slideshow attempt features the chase of packed trains on the overcrowded Gwalior - Sheopur Kalan 610 mm narrow gauge line in Madhya Pradesh, central northern India, hauled by class NDM-5 diesel locomotives from the dusty, chaotic outskirts of Gwalior at the foot of the ancient Fort to the lovely rural surroundings of Sumaoli and back.
Later I visited the Fort featuring 15th century Jain statues and Man Mandir Palace, then moved on to Jai Vilas Palace of former maharaja and railway minister family Scindia with its special sight - a silver dinner table model train.
