Sleeper trains axed

I did search to see if this has been posted.

Due to France's financial woes, funding for Paris Berlin and Paris Vienna sleepers has been axed.

ÖBB (Austrian Railways) can't fund them on their own.

I doubt this is very much the case, and has been discussed over https://www.railforums.co.uk/threads/pyjama-party-to-save-the-nightjet.292576/post-7481013

TL;DR every new TOC gets a 3 year entry subsidy by EU law, it will run out in 26 and OBB wanted SNCF to foot the subsidy bill, which they didn't do (as is usual)
