We live near Didcot and Oxford and my wife has expressed a wish to travel to Edinburgh on a night sleeper train. I have spent hours surfing the Web with little success and I wonder if any forum users could offer some advice.

The Sleeper to Edinburgh goes from London Euston and Watford Junction.

There's lots about it on the ScotRail web site including a 360° panorama of the inside of the sleepers. Don't forget to check the Bargain Berths section.

There's also a good section on Man in Seat 61.

One bit of advice I can give is if the price is what you find good then do it as it really is a great experience.
