Sleeper tickets

I am aware that the Caledonian sleeper requires a ticket that is valid on the day of arrival. My question is can I use an All Line Rover on it's last day to travel on GWR Sleeper arriving in Paddington after 5am?
Trying to squeeze what I can from a Rover ticket.

Yes my understanding of ticket validity on Sleepers is that a ticket which expires on the day of departure remains valid for the duration of the train (otherwise, under normal circumstances, the ticket would expire at 0429)

I have done this previously and to be safe. I was going to alight at Reading but I questioned this at Paddington 2 days before and they said it was ok

Yes, it's valid until you alight the train you're currently on at expiry. No good for connections, so if you come off the sleeper at Liskeard and wanted to carry on to Looe you'd need a new ticket for that.

Yes thanks. I'm looking to start the day before and finish the day after the ALR with a cheap LNW off peak return from Manchester to London. Just need a strike free fortnight, it saves on hotels or claiming for days lost. I need to do this before the cost of housing and heating takes the rest of cash I have
