Mod edit: A date's been added to help identify this specific incident in the future.

Just seen the London - Edinburgh Sleeper passing Haymarket this morning at approx 9am almost 3hrs late. Does anyone know what the delay was.

It would seem that the sleeper lost almost two hours between Perry Barr and Soho (note this is not the usual route of the sleeper on a Sunday night, normally it's Coventry–Stechford–Perry Barr–Walsall–Bushbury).

A skoda slipping to a stand, well that is a surprise.... To be fair its not the first to come to grief on the Soho road and probably won't be the last!

whereabouts is the aberdeen sleeper since it ran ecs via inverness and perth last night?

I know you asked this question in another forum but I couldn't find anything to actually back up the ECS you mention? So please could you do that :)

Also, if, as you say 1B16 tonight has been cancelled, then that may mean the stock is still in Aberdeen but staffing it would mean screwing up staff duty rotas. Monday night up is London crew so staffing with Scottish crew would mean potentially few crew for the tomorrow's up beds, best just to cap it to keep everything in sequence.

Hesse slipped to a stand at 0130 aprox this morning. 90024 on the front, got a shove from behind about 2 hours later (apparently from a 67) also struggled up shap & beatock. Pretty poor performing Skoda. Attempted to make up some time arrived (our portion) into gla about 9. 1h40m down.
