With the Motorail Services Trivia Discussion provide many an interesting insight , i thought it might be good to start one about Sleeper Services .

I have just come across this very interesting little booklet - European Sleeping Cars 1982, inside it details with pictures and plans all the various Sleeper Rolling Stock across Europe inc UK

I have scanned a few pages to share and will i am sure now add other Sleeper Timetables and Guides as i come across them .

The UHs were built as reparations to CIWL, I believe.

I have the Summer 1965 CIWL timetable - in French - which includes a comprehensive list of supplement fees. The Night Ferry and Golden Arrow are covered first!

This was published by Thomas Cook.

There was also an International Sleeping Car Timetable published twice yearly by the 'TEN' group detailing all of the Sleeping Car services with times and booked type of Sleeping Cars together with diagrams similar to those shown, I should have a couple of copies somewhere one from the mid 80s and another from the early 1990s, would probably require a lot of searching to locate.

There is also the CIWL thread on this forum - now closed but also in the 'Railway History and Nostalgia' Forum.
