Sleeper Question?

a wee question l hope someone can answer.

When the Caladonian Sleeper arrives in London about 0700 hours,Does it remain there until the return leg that evening or does it travel noth as a standard train with paying passengers?(in the morning)

It doesn't sit at Euston occupying a platform if thats what you mean by staying there. I'm sure it goes to Wembley during the day.

Neither - it stays at Euston until just after 0800 then goes to Wembley sidings for servicing, cleaning etc ready for its next working.

The one at platform 1 usually leaves at around 8.30am or just thereafter. Sometimes it is there when I arrive and sometimes not. The other one at the other end of the station tends to leave first

It must be annoying to have a platform blocked at busy station in the rush hour but I guess the highland portion couldn't really go much earlier.

Don't know what time they leave Edinburgh and Glasgow either. I use to commute from Haymarket and was there at various times between 0730 and 0830 and never saw it heading though, but I guess it could use another route to avoid Haymarket. I saw both highland and lowlands heading to Edinburgh a little late

At Euston in the morning 1M16 (Inverness/Aberdeen/Fort William up) sits there longest due to the ongoing the skoda proplems.
Only 1 engine comes light from Wembley to perform ECS duties to Wembley. 1M11 the up Glasgow/Edinburgh ECS leaves first to Wembley with a EWS skoda bringing the stock ECS to Wembley. The skoda of 1M11 (up Glasgow) does the ECS of 1M16 (up Inverness/ Aberdeen/ Fort William) to Wembley.

As far as I was aware it had been like that for several years with just one Class 90 loco performing the ECS duties
Generally Glasgow / Edinburgh passengers empty their train quickest, quite often there are a few stragglers on the Aberdeen / Inverness / Fort William
