Does this one allow me to travel Penrith/Carlisle-Glasgow to then make a sleeper journey Glasgow-Euston with just the Sleeper ticket ?

020001 Passengers from Cumbria and the Scottish borders are permitted to travel on an evening service to Glasgow to join the London sleeper. Tickets must be routed via Glasgow.

And can someone explain what this one means ?

020010 Passengers using the sleeper northbound from Euston may start their journey with a cross London service.

That one is generally interpreted to mean that you can travel from a station within Zones 1-6 to Euston to catch the ticket, included in your sleeper ticket.

You will have some problems at LU gatelines, as we are told *nothing* about this!!

are they told anything other than incorrect statements 'if it doesn't have a + it's not valid" (wrong!) and 'if it says Not london it's not valid"? I hear the person in charge of ticket training is in need of training themselves (urgently)

As we've discussed before Yorkie, that's what the training says

You will generally find that staff at busier stations (such as Kings Cross) seem to know about NR tickets a bit more, but at quieter stations, if your ticket gets rejected by the gates, they don't always know..

And yes, IIRC it's if a Not London ticket is more expensive by the Via London ticket then the Not London is valid via London... I think? xD

Yep. And if they are not capable of doing the check on fares, they need to contact Control to do it. If they are not capable then they must assume the passenger is right!
