Sleaford to Oxford & Return

Planning a short trip to Oxford (a City we have never visited, but have often passed on the A34!) 3rd week September (very flexible) and staying 1 night. Midweek or weekend but not outbound on a Sunday due to 1st train out of SLR midday!

2 x Adults with disabled railcard.

Don't mind a meandering route if it results in lowest fare. Lowest fare I can find is about £90 single for 2 adults with railcard.

G'day there

Try East Midlands 3 days in 7 rover for the return trip from Sleaford to Coventry. Railcard fare UK42.10.
Then add advance tickets Coventry to Oxford for UK17.20 railcard return for a total of UK 59.30 round trip, plus you will still have a day to use on the rover for another day trip to somewhere.

The above fares are for 1 person including railcard discount.
