Hi Guys,
I have been shortlisted to attend an assessment day (12/11/12) for the post of Multi Skilled Technician role with First Great Western. Can someone advice me on what to expect on this day and how I can prepare myself. Thanks in advance

Hi,

I have not actually attended a First assessment day but imagine that they would be similar to other TOCs. Have they sent you practice materials? You tend to find as a technician you get a comprehension and maths test, as well as whatever else they feel like throwing at you. Having chatted to other guys who have done the tests I think your competence based interview is far more important.

Thanks for the info mate. I haven't been sent any practice material and I guess I should start revising just in case
