Hello,
I'm travelling from Skegness to Dronfield (for football) on 24th July, so have started to look at getting the cost down from the £20.85 off peak day return.
So far, the cheapest I have found is splitting via Alfreton, making it £13.2 + £5.50 = £18.70.
Anybody know of a cheaper way?
The route I'll be taking is SKG - NOT departing 1015, arriving 1223, then NOT - DRO dep 1315, arr 1359, then coming back the same way leaving DRO at 1755 (arr NOT at 1833) and NOT at 1845 (arr SKG at 2057).
Thanks.

. They'd have to do some really sneaky peak restrictions and ticket re-branding, which certain TOCs got away with at "simplification" (which was a con). To do it now it would stand out like a sore thumb and we could alert the media.
