Whilst I believe that generally to be the case, can you please substantiate your statement?
I am no lawyer but I’d like to see advice given here to be accurate.

Agreed - I don’t think the blanket statement that all SJPN prosecutions are non-recordable is correct. I think it depends how it is prosecuted - and if prosecuted under the Railway Byelaws it isn’t generally recordable.

What I said is accurate in the context of this thread.

SJP cannot be used for imprisonable offences. Offences are only recordable if they are imprisonable or have been specified as recordable through regulations by the Home Office. No railway offence has been so specified. You can see the list of recordable offences in the assorted National Police Records (Recordable Offences) Regulations which are browsable online; there may exist some unofficial consolidations somewhere.

Thank you, I incorrectly read your statement to be saying this but I completely understand your clarification which corrects my misunderstanding!
