I've never actually got round to using a simulation so just a very general question, out of curiosity.
Do some simulations show precisely accurate stock for a given timetable?
This is particularly interesting on the Southern Region and NSE with its wide range of EMUs, with several classes often working in multiple on the same train.
So if you were viewing a simulation from say 1985 and that year the 1735 Waterloo-Portsmouth (imaginary service, didn't actually exist) was formed of 4CIG + 4VEP + 2HAP, would the simulation show that exact combination? Or would it be some generic third-rail EMU?
