On a side note, I htink Sheffield is my favourite Sim, because every small thing seems to escalate. Case and point: I'm currently trying to cope with havoc caused by a TCF on Holmes Jn. Crossing. Diversionary paths!

Mine is much worse. SB trains are diverted via the "snake" on SCR6 or SCR5 (rev. at Waterbeach), no NB trains can access Rotherham Central. And, to make things worse, I've just had a slot requested at Deepcar, and a train neesd to use my reversing siding for half an hour: They're stuffed!

Queued from Holmes Jn. past Swinton in both directions, BTW. Scores stilll 70% though 8)

No, it's the area around nottingham and toton, it's called the trent area locally i think

Send them thru Rotherham and onto screen 6 and then you can access Sheffield. Simple

don't know if it has been mentioned before but sigcent is another excellent signalling programme,featuring birmingham new street and london victoria.

Ive used it and found it to be brilliant

Manchester Piccadilly is more of my local station than Birmingham New Street, but ive yet to find a signalling simulation covering it.
323235 is actually a northern rail unit used on Macclesfield/Alderley Edge /Hadfield/Hazel Grove/Crewe and Manchester Airport services in South Manchester. I do like Birmingham new street though.
as for simsig, deffo gonna give it a try.

Lamp failure in Wincobank's pretty bad as well. All NB trains are pretty much kinda stuck.
