Since the launch of Simplibus does anyone think it is better than it was. Also does anyone think more routes should be added?

Routes are numbered 1-10 and of course route 12, 20, 5S, 5W, 5M, 8S, 12B.

General talk about the bus service in Grimsby!

Sounds like a brand for female sanity pants or making the public seem stupid.

It does seem that way. The bus services used to be very oddly numbered but I believe there was a lot more routes in 2009 than there are now.

Route 1,2 and 20 have not changed from its previous number
Routes 3 and 4 were routes 13 and 14
Route 5 (as well as 5W, 5S, 5M) were 45, 45M and 46
Route 6 was route 16
Route 7 did not change
Route 8 did not change
Route 9 and 10 were 9 and 9A
Route 12 did not change

I think the network is generally pretty good, I just don't like the fact they removed the extension of the number 5 to South Killingholme in January.

Received wisdom is that non-bus-users can't cope with "high" service numbers (numbers above 20 or thereabouts, apparently, although no evidence has ever been provided for the claim) so everything has to be renumbered to make buses attractive to the people who have no real intention of leaving their cars.
Are these the same people who have no problems with TV channels running well into the hundreds?

Only place that is seen a real cut is around Lincoln on the 66 that went from 12mins to every 15mins.
