Silkeborg museum contains a 2500 year old mummified person, "Tollund Man". I'm travelling through Silkeborg and would like to visit the museum though not with my suitcase! Does anyone know if the lockers at the railway station could accommodate a small carry-on size suitcase? Thanks.

Details of the size of boxes on DSB are to be found on ’ Mere information om leje af bagageboks ’ on .dsb.dk . However, it doesn’t say how many of each size there are at Silkeborg and I would doubt there would be many in total. The payment cards to be used are listed under Betaling.

The museum appears to be open 11.00-16.00 except Mondays until June, although open Easter Monday.

EDIT: It is possible that they only have S (35 cm x 45 cm x 85 cm) and L (35 cm x 94 cm x 85 cm).

Thanks for this. I'll check. Although it doesn't look that far to the museum, but I doubt they'd be happy to store a suitcase! It'll be a Wednesday, train arrives from Aarhus 1032, so plenty of time to sort things out.

You can pop them an email and ask.
