Have returned recently from a wedding in that part of Poland. Main towns in area I visited were Jastrzębie-Zdrój, Wodzlslaw and Rybnik. Seemed be quite a few coal mines in the area. Saw some blue electrics from the car with PKP cargo on them stabled with what I assumed were coal wagons. What works passenger in this area ? Could see a coal fired power station on Czech near where I stayed in the village of Golkowice and sure I heard trains during the night, is there a rail map of this whole area showing freight and passenger lines? Thanks

LOCal/regional trains in this area are also done by the province-Slask and have own livery/timetables/fare-system. Koleje Slaskie.
Area is more known among enthusiasts for its very wide spread interurban TRAM network, fanning out from Katowice-similar to what once was also the case in Belgium, incl the old coal mines.
