Lo whats Sileby Station like for freight near Mountsorrel or is there better places around there for photos thanks

Sileby (Cossington) is one of the 100+ Freightmaster timetables,
because it is a popular and busy section of the MML, but a lot of the
trains which pass there are Q (as required) workings, so the pattern
of trains can vary significantly from day to day and week to week.

Try the footbridge just to the N of Sileby for an alternative for photos - the platforms are a bit too close to the line for my liking. There's also a good choice of overbridges to the N of Barrow upon Soar.

I personally think Syston Station will be better as you get the Leicester - Peterborough Line diverging there which gets quite a bit of freight on it.
