I noticed a triangular New-Scotland-Yard style sign at the westbound entrance to South Tottenham, a lot nicer than the flat rectangle sign at the eastbound entrance.

Are there any more of these on the Overground? I have noticed that some lightly used stations like Stamford Hill have a very smart Overground roundel attached (even though Stamford Hill station is so small that the roundel nearly looks bigger than it) whereas some much busier stations like Enfield Town have very poor temporary looking signage. How do the decisions about signage get made, and why is there no obvious rationale behind it?
