Signalling School - Basingstoke - Starting 14th November

You may have seen my other post about York starting on the 14th November. However just got a call to say I was misinformed and its actually at Basingstoke.

So is anybody else on the course? Apparently we have 3 weeks off for Christmas!

West Midlands Signalling Centre as grade 6 mate. Medical went well today and I believe my references are sorted so just waiting for the call now!

How many references did you need to put down? And were they all work or any personal?

They only asked for two, so gave them my current and previous employer.

Having said that I sent the details of my references off and 45 minutes later I got an email saying all pre-employment checks had been completed and 'welcome aboard' type thing. I asked my friend to be my personal reference (who is a pharmacist) if he got a call or email and he said no!

That's ok then. Current emplyer is fine, but I been here 7 years, previous 2 employers have both gone out of business....had myself a little worried then. That's ok, I have 1 work and 2 personal on my CV so will just use those Thanks for getting back to me
