Signaller medical

Hi I have completed my medical to become a signaller mid way through last week.

I passed everything on the day and am just awaiting the results of my urine test.

I expect this to be fine as I don't take drugs, however I received a the lady who carried out my medical today. Once I realised and called back her voicemail greeting stated she was out of the office until early September.

I was just wondering if anyone has completed a safety critical medical recently whilst the provider has been OH Assist. If you received a call from the practitioner who carried out the medical.

I hope she was just ringing to confirm that I passed, but obviously there is a doubt in my mind, and having to wait until at least Tuesday to get hold of someone from OH assist to find out is going to equal a long weekend.

If anybody can help shed any light on this it would be a great help especially if its just standard practice for them to call and confirm everything is ok.

Hi, I had my medical at OH Assist in Sheffield last month and didn't receive any calls before being notified that I'd past via email.
I wouldn't worry, it's likely to be something very simple and straight forward. Cheers

Cheers for the reply, I know it will likely be fine and something small. At worst it will be a false positive through something I have eaten/ medicine I have taken.

It's just that I have had a few medicals and drug and alcohol test with NR and this is the first time I have received a call back, which threw me a bit as I wasn't expecting it.

Just plain annoying that I missed the call as I was working and now have to wait till Tuesday to get in touch with OH Assist!:roll::roll:
