Signal box location, any ideas?

This photo, Morfa Crossing and dated 1901, has been posted on our local Facebook page on Anglesey. It is not local to us so far as we can see, and does not appear to be an LNWR design. Does anyone have any ideas please. Thanks.

There is a Morfa Crossing SB listed on the Ogmore Vale Extension Line in south Wales

Is it possibly connected to Morfa Junction in Swansea?

More likely to be north wales as it was found in a box by a local resident whose family have always been up here. Digging further it looks similar to the box at Llanfairpwll, which also has a hipped roof unlike most of the old LNWR ones.

There is a Morfa just outside Conwy complete with a (long disused) crossing, so it could be there.

If only my mother was still around (she died earlier this year) she might have known as she was brought up in a house facing the crossing!

Don't know if there was ever a box there.

I've had a look at a 1900 OS map and there's no indication of a box at Morfa Crossing, Conw(a)y.

It could be anywhere but bear in mind that 'Morfa' is the word for a sea marsh although these days it is frequently, but wrongly, applied to a beach.
